The company has participated in the PORK-MEAT project: Phenotypic characterization of the quality (and safety) of Iberian pork meat products through fast and low-cost technologies, which has been co-financed by the FEDER - INNTERCONECTA 2015 Program.
The PORK-MEAT project establishes the main objective of achieving a more sustainable and cheaper Iberian pork production through genetic improvement and the use of tools applied to phenotypic analysis.
After 2 years of intense work, the goals set have been achieved in line with the priorities of the State Program of R & D + i Oriented to the Challenges of the Society, specifically the CHALLENGE IN SAFETY AND FOOD QUALITY; PRODUCTIVE AGRICULTURAL ACTIVITY AND SUSTAINABLE, SUSTAINABILITY NATURAL RESOURCES, MARINE AND MARITIME RESEARCH.
